I didn't make it

Hi guys, I guess I wanted to update you about that contest I entered my novel for a couple of weeks ago? I made it to semi-finalists but I didn't win. I'm a bit angry but I'll get over it. You know what this had made me do? Work even harder. I can't imagine myself NOT writing. I won't give it up ever. So I'm just going to work with what I have now and keep on trying. Thanks to all those who wished me well.

P.S. I gave you two awards on my blog, one of which I think you already have, but here it is again anyway: http://maggiesbookshelf.blogspot.com/2010/03/overdue-awards-post.html =) Keep writing!

Aw, that's too bad. I'm sure it was a great experience all the same. And don't let this put you down - like you said, keep writing and working harder! Besides, it's already pretty impressive that you made it to the semi-finals.

Patty, Don't give up. As the old saying goes, If at first you don't succeed, try, try, again. This should be your motto. You can do anything you really want to do so just get back to your writing and don't give up.
