+10 Every year my family goes to this place called Santa's Magical Kingdom. It's a giant park filled with God only knows how many lights. We've been going for as long as I can remember, and it's always great to come home from college and spend some quality time with the family!

This is so great....
Our Christmas traditions are that we gather together on Christmas eve and tour around seeing the ligths throughout town. Our arboretum does a festival of lights that you can drive through and we like to do that too.
We open gifts on Christmas Day and hang our eating too much food, playing lots of Wii and watching movies. There is just the 4 of us, my hubby, and our sons who are 21 and 19.
This year will be different as my 21 year old leaves for the navy next week... not sure how that is all going to wrap around my heart just yet. :)

+10 One of my favorite holiday traditions is putting up our Christmas decorations and decorating the tree while listening to our Elvis Christmas cd. I grew up listening to it on record as a kid when we decorated, and decided we would keep the tradition alive when we had kids. (Although I could never figure out why the last song on the album was included - "Mama Liked the Roses" is so sad, and not Christmasy.)

+10 We all gather at my house on the 24th and play volleyball. We can get pretty competitive but in a really fun and hilarious way. It's SO hilarious when someone falls. We always have whoever doesn't want to play film. Usually it's one of my cousins who hates playing and likes filming. It's so fun to re-watch those afterward, including from years before. We open presents at midnight then go home and/or sleep there. The next day after breakfast we all go to the movies. :)
